Obituary of Woodroe Franklin Jr.
Woodroe Franklin Jr., age 76, of Apple Valley, MN passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 24, 2023. Memorial and visitation will commence October 6 at 10AM with service to follow at 11am at Spielman Mortuary, 344 University Ave W, Saint Paul, MN, 55103. Burial will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
Woodroe was born in Parkdale, AR. He retired as an engineer from 3M company.
Woodroe is survived by his wife of 53 years, Beverly, son Woodroe Franklin III, daughter Darlene Goines, grandsons Ramsey & Aubrey Franklin, sisters Darsie Clark & Bessie Barkley, brother Frank Franklin, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Woodroe and Ola Mae Franklin.
