Obituary of Roscoe Donley Garrett

Roscoe D. Garrett (born May 9, 1941, in Langston, OK) passed away on August 28, 2023, at the age of 82, after a courageous battle with cancer- surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest. He had a career in the health field and attended the University of Minnesota after graduating with honors from Mechanic Arts High School in St. Paul, MN. Roscoe had a great love for music, as well as sports, good conversations and was a man who literally wore many different hats.

He was preceded in death by his parents: (Father) Benjamin Garrett and (Mother): Veleader Garrett; Sisters: Vera Jean Robinson, Ollie Mae Hill, Noveta Perrodin, Sally Mae Evans and brother: John Benjamin Garrett. Roscoe is survived by his sister Ann M. Jenkins and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
